Join the JCC and BBYO for a screening of Beneath the Helmet: From High School to the Home Front. The film follows the lives of five Israeli soldiers – teenagers, too – as they go through their military service and learn about their country, their leadership and themselves. This program is putting a face to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and creating a sense of personal connection to Israel.

This event will include a Q & A with one of the soldiers following the film.

For tickets, call Rochelle Reich at the JCC at 828-253-0701 ext.111. Tickets will also be available in the theater lobby on the day of the event. Advance purchase is recommended. For additional information, contact: Rochelle@JCC-Asheville.org.
