Agudas Israel Congregation, a part of the Hendersonville, NC area since 1900, and affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism (formerly UAHC). The synagogue was founded in 1900 by a group of immigrant Jews lead by Edward Lewis and Harry Patterson.
Jewish Education includes Hebrew, Ritual, Choir, Bar & Bat Mitzvah Preparation, and confirmation, with more planned.
Friday night Shabbat Services at 7:30 p.m., Saturday Torah Study 9:30 a.m. and Shabbat Services at 10:30 a.m., monthly Havdalah Service. Special High Holy Day Services; tickets available to non-members.
