Mar 28 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Among his many roles and accomplishments, Mr. Dori worked for several years as the spokesman and media advisor of the World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency. Later he was appointed as media advisor to Nissim Zvili, then Secretary General of the Moshav Movement. During Mr. Zvili’s tenure as Secretary-General, and Yitzhak Rabin as party chairman, Mr. Dori served as a political advisor, media consultant and spokesman for the Labor Party. Mr. Dori is a special advisor for the ministry of environment for international affairs. He also served as a spokesperson for the World Jewish Restitution organization and played an important role in the media during the discussions on the Holocaust-era dormant accounts in Swiss Banks. Dori conducted Peres’ presidential campaign in 2007. He played an important role in the negotiations between the Labor party and the Likud and the creation of the National Unity Government before the withdrawal from Gaza strip. He was the closest political figure to Peres since the early 90th. After Shimon Peres death Dori is a popular interviewee in Israeli and foreign media. Please join us on March 28 at 7 PM in the JCC gym for a lecture by Dori on Israel’s role in the diaspora and Israel’s foreign policy in a changing world.
